It Is My Life’s Mission to Help You
Greetings! My name is Pastor Herbert A. Theodore. Jr, of the PROMISED LAND MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH located in New Orleans, LA. I greet you in and with the divine love of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. My mission is to extend salvation to all mankind through spreading Bible teachings.
Salvation is God’s Free Gift
Man is saved by grace, God’s unmerited favor, through faith in Jesus Christ and His blood. Therefore, salvation is a gift from God and cannot be earned by human efforts. A person must be “born again” by the Spirit of God. In this new birth, Jesus comes to live inside the new believer. Having experienced His saving power in my own life, my desire is to spread His Good News.
I Believe That Jesus is Lord
The scripture teaches and, thus, I believe that there is one and only one true God. He is worthy of all possible honor, confidence, and love. God is eternally existing in the unity of the three persons of the Godhead, namely the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who are of the same substance, eternal and coequal in every divine perfection and executing distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption.
